Every time I think I am getting the hang of philosophical terminology I find out there is some new term. I asked ChatGPT what "analytical subjectivism" is and it said
>Analytic subjectivism is a position in metaethics—associated particularly with Richard Joyce and others—that tries to explain moral claims in terms of subjective attitudes or preferences, while preserving some of the logical and linguistic features of ordinary moral discourse.
Which sounds like an analysis based on subjectivism. Presumably not the only possible analysis based on subjectivism. I think I'm still none the wiser and definitely feeling more weary.

My use of the term has little do with Richard Joyce, and I have no idea if what it said there is accurate.
Ok. I guess I should just give up and let this one float over my head.
Disappointing because I consider myself a moral subjectivist but now I'm hearing that isn't just one team 😂
